Do you have a broken lens that Fubar that you can give away?

After seeing this Lens-made-mug, I kind of want to make one. Before ebaying thought I'd ask TPF to see if anyone's got a broken one they want to give away.

"Also, in case you were wondering, the mug is actually just a concept design done in Photoshop. So, you won’t be able to actually buy this thing."

good luck!

I do not think he/she wants to buy this item because of it being a concept. I think they wanted a fubar lens to make the mug. You could go to a use camera store and maybe pick up a old old lens to do this. I have been kicking the idea for this mug for a year now....

right on darktiger. I just want a busted lens to make it... something that's beyond repair. Remove all the glass and seal it from the inside or maybe drop a fitted secondary cup inside, so cleaning is easier.

Thanks, i'll check the camera stores... hopefully someone has one to give away here :p

One of those f8 mirror lenses should work about right...
Anything else would be too narrow for a mug.
Figure out what "insulator" you want to drop in the middle, albeit a Thermos brand or some generic job from Target or Wally World, then try to find a lens to fit it.
