Houstonian selling well cared-for Canon 5D and accessories to finance a 5D Mk2 upgrade. Would like to sell as a camera package, but willing to break up items.

Canon 5D: I am the only owner. The camera has been well taken care of with fewer than 9400 actuations. The LCD screen has minimal wear, only seen from certain angles. Some paint worn on shoe and where the strap attaches. Other than that the body is 9/10. Included is original box with all cd's, strap, manuals, chords, charger, battery, etc. Camera performs flawlessly. $1100 shipped. $1090 local.

Thanks for your question.

It hasn't been sent into Canon for the replacement. But, I just spoke with Canon (literally just got off the phone), and they said, "If it hasn't been a problem to this point ..." (and it hasn't) "... it likely won't be a problem."

They also said that if the owner wants to do preventative maintenance and have the mirror attachment switched, they'll take care of it - no problem.

Like I said, it hasn't been a concern or issue for me - so I haven't worried about it. Hope this helps.
