FS: Nikon Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens (dfw preferred) $50 - 02-26-2010, 04:32 PM

finally got a better lens, so my kit lens is up for sale. seems to be one spec of dust inside on the outer edge. i never noticed it in any pictures. most of the dust that's in the picture was me not cleaning the lens first...

what's included: lens, lens cover, end cap, "skylight" filter

$50. i'd prefer exchange in the dfw area.

I probably ought to pick this up, just for the shear fact that I dont have anything covering the wide range, and it may be a while before I can afford that 17-55 I want...

17-55 is a slow lens, but a very very very sharp one. Unless you just happen to need a fast lens, this is a great sharp easy to carry around lens. Anyone that doesnt have one, should.

Yup, it's been a great slow lens. Coupled with a flash and shooting a stop above the widest it will go, it's pretty sharp. I bought a tamron 17-50 2.8 so I don't have a need for it. I'm sure I can find some studio shots I did with it if anyone wants to see it in action
