17-40 is not for sale for the moment being. There was a speck found inside the lens, I need to see what this is or get it cleaned up before sale.

How do you like the 2.8 over the 4.0 stops? I know there is a big difference in the Bokeh but what about the other types of shots? Still "L" quality? I'm going to peru and i need something with resilient color abilities. ~Thanks

If it did the price would be significantly more, non IS 70-200.

I took the lens out a moment ago to see if anything shows up on a photo with it, nothing. Simply a speck of dust somewhere in the lens. Taken with a 5DMkII. If anyone needs to see the original file let me know. I can meet this weekend, located at I-10@Eldridge in Houston but I can meet somewhere if needed.

I bought a lens once where the seller also mentioned that there were not just one but a few specks of dust inside the lens, but also provided links on dpreview forum where many people said not to worry because these dust specks won't be visible. They were right, it's one of my best lens with no specks or spots visible. Anyone interested in this lens should have nothing to worry about.
