Sigma 150mm 2.8 Macro for Canon EOS
Love this lens, but I want to upgrade to the Canon 100mm 2.8L IS Macro. Comes with the tripod ring, hood, caps.
This is with the Sigma 2.0X TC:

This is handheld:

Like I said, fantastic lens.
New at B&H: $729
My price: $625

SOLD! Canon 50D+BG-E2N Grip+2 Chargers+4 batteries
This is in great condition with less than 20,000 clicks on it. I bought it new from Amazon a year ago. It has always been a backup/secondary camera.
New at B&H: $1263 (50D body + grip + 4 extra batteries + 2 extra chargers)
Price: $950
I will not part out the grip.

SOLD!Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 Ultra-Wide Zoom lens for Canon EOS
This is in great condition, and has only been used a handful of times and only once in the last year. Comes with the caps and the hood.
New at B&H: $480
My price: $425

SOLD! Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 for Canon EOS
Great lens that is very sharp and focuses fast. Comes with hood, caps, tripod ring.
Reason selling: haven't used it in a year, and want to get the Canon model with Image Stabilization.
New from B&H $800.
My Price: $690 shipped

Things I will take in trade (full or partial)
Canon 35mm 1.4L
Canon 50mm 1.2L
Canon 135mm 2.0L
Canon 100mm 2.8L IS Macro
Tokina 11-16mm 2.8
Canon 580EX II (looking to buy a couple)
External battery pack for 580EX II

I just want a camera that I can use and never have to crop again. Is that so wrong?

What you quoted was us making fun of a know-it-all rookie who basically said it was a sign of an amateurish photographer if you don't compose right in camera and have to crop later.

Canon 24-105L
Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS

We are all in different places. I've been shooting for a number of years with third part lenses and am just now moving up.

You should be bowing to Scott's digital medium format camera and Hensels.

Every time I see Scott posted a peeper version of his portrait, I drooled :) both to his gear and his lighting.

Just an update:

Sold the 10-20mm for $425, sold the 50D for $950, sold the 70-200 for $690 shipped expressmail.

Price drop on the Macro: $625! A killer deal for the absolute best and sharpest macro you can possibly buy! [citation needed]
