Nikon as better AF, better metering, better flash system, better intuitive controls and all included with their lower end cameras where in Canon, you have to go almost to 1 series to get many of the features on a, say, D300.

I have owned all the way from Rebel to 1Ds 3 and used all lenses except for mammoth 400-600 primes.

I just switched.

I must've missed the magazine and online reviews that said this was a fact. But perhaps it is effected by the person using the camera system, their build, the way they shoot, etc.

I won't disagree that from some videos I've seen there are a lot of menu options available and the Nikon system has some great features. But I also wonder how may are used or is it 90% use 10% of what they have? Still, options are good.
