Hello,

I've started an event photography business and am looking for a good quality lens. At this point, I've narrowed my list down to the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM Canon mount. While I know the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS is better, I'm not sure that's in the budget right now.

I'd love to hear any suggestions on great wedding/event lenses :)

A used Canon 80-200mm 2.8 aka "The Magic Drainpipe" would also be a good choice if you come across one.

I actually just sold my Siggy 70-200 to someone on this board. It was a good lens, and I hope they get good use out of it.
