I agree preferring the Tamron over the Sigma, mainly because it is lighter by about half a pound. I used to think I'd miss the wider 24mm view the Sigma provided, but then I bought the Tamron 17-50 and that problem was solved.

Guess I'm just a happy Tamron lens owner!
