FS: Canon 5D and Canon Mark IIN (College Station, Houston, Waco, Austin)

Selling two cameras in this post.

Canon 5D with Canon Grip. Two batteries, box. This is a USA Camera bought from BH VIDEO in 2006. The camera has been to CPS for the sub mirror (recall) fix. Would estimate 40-50K on the shutter. The camera has some rubs and one or two dings. It is a great camera. $1050.00 Firm

Canon 1D Mark IIN USA, Canon Battery, Box, Charger, Cables. I am the second owner of the camera, but bought it from a friend. The camera has visible wear (rub marks). Shutter was replaced last June by CPS in Irvine. Would estimate 20k on the new shutter (replacement was $3-400, have paperwork to show). $950.00 Firm Great sports camera

Reason for selling: shuffling gear and changing priorities.

That's a killer price on a 1D Mark IIn with a new-ish shutter. Hmmmmmm.

How good is the battery?

I have been using the Canon battery with it. I would estimate that it is at about 75% usefulness. The battery will last me shooting a full D1 football game, or track meet and about 3/4 of an 8 Hr wedding day.

Would somebody (or two people) please buy these already? I've got both cameras, and this is a killer deal on both of them. I'm kind of torn, because in addition to my personal 5D and 1D Mark IIn, I was just issued a 7D at work. Come on, people! Don't make me buy one of these myself (I'd go for the 1D!).

I would buy the IIN in a heartbeat but i'd have to sell my 40D first and i can't do that unless i have a guarantee on another camera :/
