I'm cleaning out my office and while this is a great flash softbox, I just don't use enough to justify keeping it. It's an umbrella style flashbox, very portable and pretty big. Here's a link to the actual item from Denny's - Tri Coast Off Camera Flash Box - Safari Luminations from Denny Manufacturing.. It retails for $289 plus S&H. I'm selling it for $200 including paypal. It is in mint condition - really. I've only used it a handful of times and while it's great, it just doesn't suit my style of shooting. Local pickup or you pay actual shipping cost.

Looks like an octobox. I bet it produces some really nice light.

I take it this includes the stand and everything as shown in the link?
What do I need to make this work with my Canon EOS 5D, some type of camera mounted flash trigger?

2 of these PocketWizard Plus II Transceiver

simplest way is to use a synch cord. old fashioned but effective.
or
two pocket wizards (one for camera, one for flash) or microsync, or radio poppers, etc.
or
master flash on camera and slave flash on softbox.
or
inexpensive Ebay Chinese wireless remote triggers.

Yes, it is an octobox and it does produce really nice light. No, it didn't come with a light stand but I can include one. I have several. Like others have said, a multitude of flash triggers will work. I have used it with radio poppers and most recently with pocket wizards but I have also used it with line of site.

I have a few websites that I manage and I was thinking I could use this fora low cost product shots and etc in my home made garage studio :) Right now I am using the hot shop lights with umbrellas.
I am old school all I have ever used were the Hot Lights and shop lights for what I needed.
I am not familiar with lighting controls and triggers.

It's really not that hard to learn and with digital, it only costs you time. I really like using flashes because you don't need a power source.

Debbie
I have given it some thought while stuck in the house with the contractor and I think I am going to buy a kit of some kind either for my flashes or with new strobes.
Thanks for your tips and help!
