I am reluctantly selling my amazing Nikon 400mm F2.8 AFS-II Telephoto Lens.

I have owned it for 4 years and it is in excellent shape.

I used it for motosports photography but i have stopped shooting that sport and no longer have the need for it.

It is an incrediible lens and pains me to sell it but could use the money for our second child.

It comes with the original case, strap, both carbon fiber lens hood sections.

Also i am throwing in the drop in circular polariser which is very useful. This item along is worth over $250.

I am also throwing in the RRS heavy duty tripod foot. It is worth $100 and is a must as ther original foot is not sturdy enough.

I am asking $6000 US as it is worth over $9000 new with taxes and shipping, and they are hard to find used.

I am willing to entertain reasonable offers.

No this is the AFS2, the last version before the VR.

This is sought after used because most people don't want the VR and is much chaper than a new or used VR one.

Glass is pretty much the same.
