SOLD: EWA Underwater DSLR Camera Bag - $99 - 08-24-2010, 11:02 AM

I'll have pix up soon. Until then there are some diagrams on the EWA Page:
ewa-marine:*U-F-Series

Seems the retail price is about $220 Ewa Marine Underwater Housing for Manual Focus SLR Cameras

Rated for 10m (about 30ft)
Has room for a small telephoto, and a small top mounted flash.

Comes with a nice bright yellow carrying bag. I have not used this in

I used it only for taking pix in the water off the beach at catamaran races. It's never been submerged below 2' of water.

I accept paypal + shipping. Will ship from San Antonio or local pickup. Cash is usually pretty good too :)

This may be a shot in the dark, but I have a $100 GF to Barnes and Noble that I'd trade for it....

I am interested if you don't want the gc...and want cash. I do have a question though. In your ad you mention a flash option, but the website states that another model has the flash. Also, why is it for manual focus system? Would it not af?

Thanks!

Wow...I wasn't getting updates on this thread.

I'll accept cash if you wanna come to SA...otherwise paypal and shipping.

I think the U-F is the flashless version...the U-FX has some extra height for the flash....not sure I would try to use a folding flash with it though.

Manual focus? I have no idea why they say this. It comes with some ring adapters so you can manipulate the focus ring while it's inside the bag. I used it on autofocus and used the rings to manipulate the zoom on an 18-55mm lens.

I never used it underwater. I used to stand in the surf and take pix of the boats launching off the beach. I'll attach a pic that I took with it when I start up the other computer. Sorry...just been busy the last couple of days.

The whole thing isn't very heavy...but with the carrying bag it makes it bigger than you would expect for shipping. I could probably fit it in one of those USPS shoebox sizes priority boxes and ship to Austin for about $10.

My paypal is sean@seanstevensphoto.com

This is what I used the bag for....think I only used it that one week. The next year I bought a water-resistant camera/vidcam.

Although I'm a certified (PADI) scuba diver I never even put this bag in the pool.

I'll have actual pix of it later today...I hope. Just be real busy.

Yeah...I heard someone call DIBS :) ....but I don't count the money until it's in the bank....figured they might be waiting for actual pix before pulling the trigger.

If I don't hear anything by Sunday I'll go to the next person.

If you have a couple of simple questions to ask Sean when contemplating purchasing a product from him please don't even bother. He will not respond to your PM and will sell it to the next guy in line just because it is to inconvenient for him to do so. He's a super busy guy with a lot going on. Man this guy is important.....
