FS: Canon 540EZ Speedlite w/2500mAh Rechargeable Batteries & Charger (FREE SHIPPING) - 08-28-2010, 05:44 PM

Hi All,
I have 2 sets of Canon 540EZ Speedlites For Sale. This is one of two.....

DESCRIPTION:
Excellent working condition with normal minor scratches. Comes with 540EZ Speedlite, Soft Case, Original Box, Warranty Card, Instruction Manual, and a set of Energizer 2500mAH rechargeable batteries and charger. Also this Speedlite was modified to accept a pocketwizard transmitter. I tested the sync and it DOES NOT seem to work. It could be a loose wire somewhere which would make it a simple DIY task for someone. However, everything else on the flash works FLAWLESSLY!!! This item is for sale only in the Continental U.S. and I will provide FREE SHIPPING..... Total Cost is $90.oo. I accept PayPal or if you are located in the Houston, Texas area, feel free to come by my studio in downtown for local pick-up.

Here's the second one.....

DESCRIPTION:
Excellent working condition with normal minor scratches. Comes with 540EZ Speedlite, Soft Case, Original Box, Instruction Manual, a set of Energizer 2500mAH rechargeable batteries and charger and a Magic Lantern Guide Book for the Canon 540EZ Speedlite Flash System valued at $19.95.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.....
Thanks!
-Mark

Anyone know if the 540ez will work with the 7D wireless? Prob a dumb question. So if I read you correctly, neither mod for the PW works?

Thanks

No, these flashes do not work with Digital Camera regarding ETTL.....
Look at these flashes strictly as a manual type of "Off-Camera Flash" sort of like the Vivitar 285 or the Yungno or even the LumaPro. They work EXCELLENT as off-camera flashes for strobist type of applications.....

Right. Sorry I wasn't specific. I figured TTL was off the table, but seems like someone was saying they would remote *fire* with the Canon remote IR trigger.

Now I can't find the thread. Grrr ... Maybe I misread.

Just wondering if it was true and if that included the 7D.

O.K., now I see your question.....
No, they do not fire remotely via Canon IR Wireless System.
