SOLD: Nikon AF VR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D lens (dfw preferred)

I've had this lens for the last year. I'm the second owner. I myself have only used it a couple of times, and it came in real handy for those times when you need a loooonng reach. But having only used it a couple times, I can't see keeping it.

Includes: front and rear caps, tripod collar, tiffen 77mm uv filter, lens hood, soft carrying case(with styro inserts), orig box.

There's some skuff marks on the plastic lens hood, where I dropped it (the hood, not lens ) and tried to catch it against a concrete wall. Some other light skuff marks on the barrel itself. You should be able to see everything in the full size pics

I might entertain some other -reasonable- offers or trades (plus cash, depending) for like a sb800, d90 or d300 body
