SOLD: Eye-fi 8gb pro x2 $100 - 11-01-2010, 08:43 PM

Like an idiot I didn't read everything before I ordered :(

NOTE: WILL NOT WORK WITH CANON 5D MK II OR ANY CAMERA THAT REQUIRES A CF CARD ADAPTER.

This is the eyefi that does geo tagging as well as transmitting... I have no idea how well it works at tagging.

Here is a link to the cards info

Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB Wireless SDHC Card - simply the most powerful memory card yet | Eye-Fi

I paid 129 for it 2 days ago, didn't keep the package so I can't return it which means a 29 dollar savings for you if you have been looking for one.

I'll take paypal or cc and eat the processing costs and pay shipping anywhere in Texas.

Just make sure you read up on it and be sure its the one that you want :)

Canon gear all the way around, just toss in a bunch of other accessories and you have an addiction.

I did the Picasa Deal and got one of these free, but it was slow as all get out. Sold it. Anybody know the speed of this one compared to the slower ones? Basically, when I shot a picture, it worked...but it took a LONG time to send even one image.

No idea the speed since I didnt get it up and running with my camera. From what I read it takes 12-15 seconds for the first image to transfer in Raw. I wasnt really worried about that time since I just wanted to use it with the ipad to try and nail color balance better before I started shooting.

That sounds faster than the one I tried, which was the entry level card. May have been a Class 4 even.

the speed issue has a direct relationship to how far away you are from the Access Point.

that card only has decent speed if your with in about 20-30 feet of the AP. With nothing in your way.

Great system I have used it with a friends 1Ds worked great. I was looking to get one and a CF adapter for my 5DMII but every adapter I found the reviews said does not work with eye-fi or does not fit into camera.
