I want to surprise my niece with a camera for Christmas. She loves photography, been reading a lot of books about it but doesn't own a camera. Been using her cell phone to take pic. I was wondering if there's anyone willing to part with their Canon? I want to buy just the body only. Please PM me the canon body you have and how much you willing to sell.

KEH.com - great guys out in Smyrna GA. A 30D would make you the best aunt ever, and they stand by their sales, if there's a problem with it when arriving, they'll take care of you and their rating system is pretty conservative. I've bought some "BGN" (bargain, less than perfect) rated stuff from them but it was cleaner than my normal day-to-day stuff I own now!

An advantage of the Rebel models are their small size (she is moving up from a cell phone, after all). I parted with my last one long ago, but you should be able to find a deal here or at the aforementioned Web sites.

I have a 20D with zoom for $330. It includes everything that comes with the camera when new.

I have a 40D that has been used with care and love, it as under 10,000 clicks with all manuals, cables, battery charger, 2 batteries etc, Camera body ONLY, No lenses. I no longer have the camera strap or the original box. Asking $500
