Are the Vivitar's safe to use on a d40 and d90? I tried doing some research on them and a couple of sites said the voltage might be too high on them for some digital cameras...I will mostly be using them off camera but will also need them on the shoe from time to time. PM sent on price if they will work.

David,

I have no idea about the voltage, but I wouldn't use them on camera.. I would ONLY use them off...

Ok, does the price I messaged you sound fair Rusty? Because I will still have to buy a flash that I can put on my shoe so I am fairly constricted on budget...and how have you fired them remotely, do you know if these will work? - CowboyStudio Photography Lighting | Studio Equipment | Studio Accessories

Sorry for all the questions but there is not a lot of info available online for this flash.

Novcaine, I just bought a set of youngo rf 602s from cowboy studio and used them for a shoot last night. They work great didn't miss fire once through 300 shots and range up to at least 80-100 feet.
