This is the only lens that has been on my camera for the last two years... albeit I was constantly broke and couldn't afford a new lens, I rather liked this one a lot. I just got my creative stride back so I feel I should move on to a zoom lens now. As for the lens itself, it is in great working condition. I bought this lens secondhand from another TPF member here, so it does have some miles. The AF did go down on me sometime last year, but I sent it to Canon and they fixed it (free of charge, they rock!). It's been great ever since. Though, there is a small ding on the side of the lens where the hood locks onto the body (see pictures below), both lens elements are scratch free and the rest of the body is sound. Both end caps and lens hood are include.
