SOLD: Canon Mark lll Very good,low shutter

Selling my Canon 1D Mark III. Bought her brand new at HCE. I am a casual hobbiest shooter at best so the shutter count is low. Has been to Canon twice. First tie was for the shutter fix despite camera focusing fine. Second time was an actual problem I saw with focusing. Turns out they had done something wrong during first visit to factory. Only reason I am selling is because I own three highend Canon bodies(camera nut with a good credit card) and this is now the oldest of them. Can't justify them all and this New Years resolution mumbojumbo going on! Its a big lose but I'll take 2300.00 cash. All the regular original stuff included along with extra batt. West Houston area. I believe it to have just under 10k clicks.

No plans to lower the price as I know what this camera can do and its low shutter count compared to others out there. Will not fall victim to the Mark 3 syndrome as I am quite happy to owning 3 canon cameras. That said I am intrested in trading for a 500mm prime lens that is local for mutual testing of each others product. I understand that I may need to bring some cash to the table depending on make and model of lens.

I don't doubt you, but that major scuff on the LCD is what held me back as well. I've heard that Canon can replace that though. Not sure if it is true or the cost. When the price is the same, do you grab the box of cereal on the shelf that is still perfect, or do you grab the box that has been crushed?
