Trade for canon 17-40 L
Looking for a good copy of this lens. I would like to trade my Canon 17-40 f/4 L for one. My lens is in fantastic shape and takes awesome, sharp pictures but I really need the 2.8 for all the basketball I shoot. PM me if you have anything.

Nice lens. I nearly kept it instead of my Canon 24-70.

Get the Tamron 28-75 2.8 instead. Not a fan of the Sigma.

The primary reason I want that range right now is for basketball and I had read (mostly) good things about the new HSM copy of the Sigma. If it comes down to it I'll just hold off and buy the Canon glass I suppose.

Possibly a little weaker than the Sigma. But it is sharper. I really don't like the Sigma copy of that. I have a second shooter who has it and feels the same way.

Hmmm ok. I'll swing by HCE today and see if they have a copy I can try.

Both are good lenses. The Tamron is a really good deal if you can live without the 24mm on your 7D.

I feel like that's the never-ending motto of the photog: "I'm saving for X"
Jamie I found a miniport cable in my gear bag the other day and I don't know if it came with those cybersyncs or not, do they seem like they're missing a cable?
