Hi everyone,

I am selling a Nikkor lens AF-S DX Zoom 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED (Nikon D50 kit lense) Just upgraded to another lens. Barely used, in perfect working condition, and with no scratches. Located in San Jose, Ca Prefer Local buyers but willing to ship. Asking for $130.00 obo.

Well, for a kit lens that little thing is hard to beat. I'm not in the market for it, but I'd recommend it to any beginner/budget photog's. Its lightweight and consistent, complements great with a 55-200mm (the VR version should be widely available soon) for a budget setup.

Just out of curiousity, what did you replace it with?

I got a tamron 18-200mm and a 50 1.8mm nikkor. The tamron is actually pretty sharp and I love the wide range. My only complaints are that the Tamron is slow at focusing and a tad bit heavy.

This lens kit is also available for the D40.

actually i think the d40 is the version II. not much difference overall, but technically not the exact same lens. =)

Bump, price lowered to $100. Woot, I just picked up a Tamron 17-50 2.8 and a Tamron 28-75 2.8 wow what a difference!
