4000 watt photoflex softbox lighting package - 06-09-2011, 05:13 PM

Item is: SOLD:
Model: Starlite
Price: 300 or best offer
Location: Fort Worth
State: TX

Selling my Constant Lights in order to move to flash....

IT included 4 Photoflex Starlight Digital Kits and 3 500 watt bulbs and 3 1000 watt bulbs speed rings and soft boxes.

The soft boxes need a new diffusion panel on the front but that is the only problem.

No Lightstands are included in this. I do not know much about these lights but they have served me well!

I am asking $300 cash or best offer or will consider trades for lens or Alien Bees.

Text or Call with a offer 972-467-1123 Eric

Photoflex Starlite Basic Digital Kit. It's a complete single light kit with a 500 watt Tungsten (continuous / hot) light, & includes everything as follows.

Photoflex Basic Digital Starlite Kit with 500 watt Starlite, X-Small Silverdome softbox, Starlite Connector, Lightstand

Photoflex 500 watt Bulb for the Starlite Tungsten Light Unit.
500 watt (120V) 4.15amp
The Starlite uses unique double-envelope bulb. The halogen bulb is encased in an outer glass shell that protects it from damaging oils, moisture and shock, preventing inadvertent explosion. The outer shell also protects the bulb by insulating it, slowing the heating and cooling of the bulb, thus lengthening its life to an expected 2000 hours. Both the 500 and 1000 watt bulbs are 3200 deg. K Light unit weight 2 lbs. 6 oz. Height 3 5/8". Length 5"

PhotoFlex Starlite FV-SL 3200 1000 Watt Body with Speedring for soft box mounting - I don't know a lot about this model of light so here is some additional information I found on the Web:

Model FV-SL 3200 110-250 Volts/60 Hz 1000 Watts

3200° Kelvin continuous lighting mount gives final image without the distracting flash you get from strobes.
Extensive Quality Control process ensures exact tolerances and pro performance
Quick-Lock Mounting Design - has a spring-loaded pin to secure soft box automatically
Continuous Light Source - what you see is what you get, no jarring flashes, power packs, capacitor, or fuses
Special Design - made exclusively for soft boxes to maximize light output
Soft box ring is included...everything works perfectly, $50/obo

I do not have the original cord that comes with body, although I do have a cord that is rated at 125V 1000 Watts that I use for this light that works perfectly and is included with the item.

Eric,

How hot do the bulbs/units get during usage?

Hey Jeff It depends on if you are using the 500 or 1000 but it gets hot because of it being a halogen..

If you want you can come by and I can show you :) I am in downtown off of 8th and Magnolia!
