You might want to list the equipment that you want to carry in it, so people can get an idea of the size you are looking for (or if you want a larger bag for room to grow).

I have something that may be perfect for what you are wanting. I switched to think tank Holsters and now am switching to a rolling bag. If I cant drag it, it probably not going with me...bad back!

I'll get you some pictures on Thursday.

I am certainly NOT familiar with all the photography backpacks out there, but the ones I have seen are not really designed to carry the weight on your hips like a regular backpack does. For "proper" support, 60% of the weight should be carried on the hips. If I am going out for a long hike, I just wrap my gear in clothes and pack it in a good technical day pack. It worked great back the the '80's before all the specialty bags were around, and still works great today.

No idea how much gear you are wanting to carry but for just a couple of lenses, flash and a single body w/lens you can't beat the value of the Case Logic SLRC-206. Just downgraded from a much larger bag to this one and love it. Amazon had it on sale last week for $55 but has probably increased by now. If you are looking for something larger, you should consider the Ape Case series, also a great value. Either way, good luck with your hunting...

lokerd,

Thanks for the video update. Looks like a nice bag, and a long the lines of what I think best would work for me. So, you said $50 for bag and $10 for shipping. I'm in McKinney just north of Dallas. What way do you except payment on this item, and also how would you ship it. Please let me know when you can.

Brian
