Gitzo 3541LS and Markins Q20 w/ RRS B2 LR II - 07-19-2011, 11:58 AM

Item is: SOLD:
Model: 3541LS and Q20
Price: $1,015
Location: Frisco
State: TX
Shipping: Will Ship

I’m down sizing on my tripod / ball head setup, so I’ve decided to sell the following set.

Gitzo 3541LS + Markins Q20 with RRS B2 LR II clamp. This setup should hold most DSLR and Lens combo.

If you were to buy it brand new, it’ll cost you $1,147.

If you buy the tripod / ball head with RRS clamp - $1,015 shipped (You save $132)

Or individual pricing as follows:

Gitzo 3541LS (Tripod only) - $605 shipped (You save $55)I purchased it brand new from a forum member on April 2011. I’ve used it twice since I purchased it. It still looks brand new. I have all the original items which came with the tripod from the seller. (The UPC was removed by the original seller)

Markins Q20 with RRS B2 LR II - $430 shipped (You save $57)Purchased it brand new directly from Markins USA and RRS around Feb 2011. I’ve used it twice since I purchased it. It still looks brand new. I have all the original items which came with the ball head from Markins and RRS.

I have the same exact setup and it's awesome. I have the 3541XLS version though. Good luck selling it. I may be selling mine sometime in the near future as well.

Thanks Wil

Based on my preference, I like the flip locks vs. the twist locks.
In addition, I need something more travel friendly in carry on suite cases.

Plus, my current setup is way more than what I need or require.

Oh I am with you Michael. My 3541XLS always has to go diagonally into my suitcase as that is the only way I can travel with it. Not ideal.

As for the flip locks, I've only seen them on very cheap tripods so they were not great. But from what Lloyd Chambers says about these new RRS tripods... they're simply awesome.

When you get yours in, let me know as I would love to see it in person... and since we both live in Frisco it would probably be a cool idea to meet anyway!

Michael, I waited for your call Saturday and it never came.

If you prefer flip locks, I have this Manfrotto CF tripod you might be interested in. We might work out a swap with $$$ on my end. Gimme a call, maybe we can work something out this weekend.
