Sold. Lens is very, sharp!! It also has the Kirk plate mechanism which is steady as rock. Cosmetically it is a 9.5/10.(only some rub marks) Functionally it is at least that good if not better(glass is perfect). The lens hood locks firmly in the extended position, but does tend to release in the retracted position(fairly common with this lens). Focus is tack on & quick. IQ loss is not noticeable to me with the Kenko 1.4 & barely noticeable with the Nikon 17E II, although the 17E II does slow down the focus speed a little.
