Do you have sample photos taken with these lenses? I just ordered a Zeiss 50 f/1.4 because I wanted a nice manual focus lens and was tired of scouring ebay. I wish I were close enough to try these out...

Hmm... I guess I can return the Zeiss... so much temptation!

Chow - if you have a buyer lined up, go ahead and make the sale. I think I'm going to keep the existing lenses i have now.

Excellent prices!

no one yet, if you change your mind later let me know.
I don't think this is going to be a quick sell...even though yashica make great lens..just less people knowing it in the states for some reason.

i had some pics taken with this lens, just can't find them.
I will try to take some with the lens when i got time.
you have the C/Y mount version of the zeiss 50 1.4?
I have both the zeiss 50 1.4 and the yashica 50 1.4, but the zeiss 50 1.4 was borrowed by my friend, so I am not able to do a comparison pics for you.
if i am not mistaking, both the zeiss 50 1.4 and yashica 50 1.4 were made by a company in japan call Kyocera.
from my own comparison that sharpness wise, not really a difference as far as i can tell. if you see from the pics, the yashica 50 1.4 is mechanically looks very similar to the zeiss 50 1.4 too, basically same design. yashica 50 1.4 is some what a more affordable copy of the zeiss 50 1.4, this is the ML version, which stands for Multi layer coating, the best that yashica made. The coating of the zeiss is more warmer, the yashica has a more cool coating..
but of cause, if money is not a issue to you, i think owning a zeiss is kinda better right? zeiss 50 1.4 is a great and famous lens, T coating etc...
just depends how much you want to spend and what is it use for.
the only reason I am selling these is that i rarely use them...i am not a big manual lens guy because my eye sight is pretty bad...on top of that, at 50mm range i already own a zeiss 50 1.4, leica R50/2, and a zeiss G45/2, plus the yashica 50mm 1.4

lol...what lens you use for your nex?
nex is a great body, just that i think the 16mm and the kit lens for it is not that great right?
i got m4/3, and i play with manual lens on it sometimes..
but i think nex is a lot better to play with manual lens..

PM sent, not overly impressed with the Zeiss I got in (fantastic build quality, but not much different in optics from my Canon 50 f/1.4).

Would love to play with some older manual focus lenses though :)
