Item is: CLOSED:
Make: Canon

I have mint condition Canon 40D about 2.5 years old with about 18-20K Shutter count. I used this camera for the Church services. Screen Protector on the LCD screen and handle with care. No scratch or misuse at all. Adult operated all the time never dropped. I am planning to upgrade my camera. I don't have pictures at this time but will post once I have it.

Is this the same camera that you indicated in your other thread may be broken?

So this is not the same 2.5-year-old 20k actuation 40D body from your Canon 40D Focus thread?

That's funny! 6 posts, 1 broken camera, and one mint condition camera.

Let me clarify I have the other post that you all are mentioning but it's not broken camera. For the focusing issue I have contacted Canon about the sharp image that I am comparing with the 50D and they said 40D is having 230K pix lcd while 50d is 900k lcd and that's why it looks sharp in the 50d rather than 40d. They also suggest me to restore to the factory settings which I will do it. Apart from that that camera is in mint condition without any issue. I am going to post the image that I have taken from this camera and lens.

Your other thread says you were getting soft images in your image software on your computer. What did Canon say about that?

Canon says nothing about the software as they don't support software. Also it depends on the focus type I was using I tried with the tripod and it give me great sharpness and results.

Rather confusing thread if comparing the info with another one - there is no another thread, there is another thread; it is not the same camera, now it is the same camera; images are soft, now images are sharp; images using tripod soft, now images using tripod sharp, etc
Sounds to me like we are witnesses to a technological miracle.... :D
