Selling the Nikon 85mm F1.4D lens because you're going full frame? What am I missing?

Thought that was a FX lense.

It is; which is why I was confused about his statement. Ken may be correct but that isn't what was said.

I am just asking for clarification.

Just to clarify.... I already have Canon 5d and bought a series of lenses on this forum, mostly L's. Initially, I was thinking of moving to Nikon D700 with 85mm F1.5 D but I felt I would be more comfortable with 135mm after noticing the difference after using Canon 135mm for my needs.

I know that this lens is an excellent match for D700 but since I have my135mm,200mm & 85F1.8 on Canon, my portrait needs are met. I'd rather
get D700 with 135MM & 35mm once I sell D90 & 85F1.4D.

There is no reason for keeping D90, even though I could have used the video feature on it since Canon 5D (MK1) does not have the video option.

Question, why don't you break the 2 items up, you might have better luck selling them faster.
I had a friend that was looking for a Nikon 85 f/1.4, but I think he might have bought one......

good luck!

Either of the items will make a nice X'Mas gift - @ the offered price though :)
I can assure you will be pleased with the condition of both the items.

Good luck !
