Canon 24-70 f2.8L

Up for sale is my Canon 24-70 f2.8L. This has been my go-to lens for a long time. "Has been" is the key. Ever since I bought a 24-105 this one hardly ever comes out of the bag and I can't see sitting on it. I do love this lens but I guess I love the 24-105 more.

The downside: This lens has a date code of "US" which means it was manufactured in 2004. So basically 7 years old. However, I did buy it from another board member (picasso) in 2008 and I've taken very good care of it. I can't find the pouch (Not really sure if it came with it but I'll look some more) and there's no box.

The upside: It's Canon, it's an "L" and it's razor sharp. Though well used, it doesn't really look like a 7 year old lens. I mean, you can tell it's used but not abused. It's not been dropped since I've owned it. The lens hood comes with it and has a few scuff marks on it.

I need $900 net (Add Paypal and shipping) to me and I'm fairly firm. However, feel free to PM me if you think it's out of line and want to make a reasonable offer (With justification). I've searched far and wide for a sale on this old of an "L" lens and came up empty.
