For sale one AF NIKKOR 50mm 1:1.8 D lens in excellent condition. I am the original owner of the lens, and it has served me very well.

The price is $85 cash (face-to-face) or $95 paypal (incl shipping).

I recently upgraded to the 50mm 1:1.8 G and no longer need the D version.

No blemishes, the glass is in excellent condition, and I have always kept the lens cap on when not in use.

I have the original box, both lens caps, and the user's manual.

Will ship CONUS once payment is received, with insurance and signature confirmation.

A buddy of mine has a d3000 will it work on that body? Sorry for my ignorance I don't shoot Nikon so I dont know what will work as far as autofocus? It looks like its a full manual lens but I don't know.

Edit: My bad, I read that as d300, not d3000, it will NOT autofocus on a d3000

Hi Trey,

David is correct that the Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 D lens will not autofocus on the D3000. However, this is not a "full manual" lens. This "D" lens was the most current Nikkor autofocus 50mm lens up until earlier this year when the "G" model came out.

True, I was just talking about the AF motor. However if his friend does not mind a manual focus lens you cannot beat the quality of this lens for the cost

My clarification was in response to the words "full manual" in Trey's reply, not yours. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.

I just want to make sure that it's clear that this is -NOT- a "full manual" lens.

I have used my 50 1.8 with a D3000. Yes, its manual focus, but a great lens for that camera. You have focus confirmation in the viewfinder.
