Any particular reason you want to upgrade? Just curious.
But I also know someone who may be interested.

The 580EXII has several simple, but yet important features, that I find really beneficial to my shooting style that the original 580EX does not offer.....
Also, I've found that after some period of use, some photographers prefer the original 580EX over the 580EXII, so I figured, this would give them a chance to go back.

This is true. I for one prefer the original.
And yes, I have a friend interested. I've pointed her in this direction.

Cool..... Thanks, Sam. How have you been? Haven't seen you in a while.
Let me know if you are also interested in a Trade, because I actually have two of them.....

I've been well. I'm still around, just don't post much anymore. More of a lurker on most boards I frequent now.
I actually don't have the EXII's, just the regular ones. I've used the EXII's before and prefer the simplicity of the 'off-master-slave' switch as opposed to the menu system. I also have upgraded the foot to have a sync port, so it's all good.

Interesting..... Did you do a DIY sync mod or did you find a company that has them pre-modded?

Flash Zebra has the feet for sale. All you do is unscrew 4 screws, plug it in and screw it back in. Takes like 10 minutes tops.
