My first attempt at selling here. Please be kind.
I bought her used but in flawless shape about 9 months ago. One afternoon about seven months later, for some unknown reason, the zoom ring seems to get stuck when zooming out, but only when the lens is pointed in a horizontal or upward direction. If pointed downward, there is no problem. I don't know how stuck because I've not forced it what so ever.
I gave her a 7 out of 10 because she stills looks brand new and takes great pics.
I have absolutely no idea how much it would cost to fix this, but I strongly suspect less than $600. If so, then this price is quite fair.
I've not included pics yet because I actually don't expect to get any serious hits. But thanks for looking.

FYI for anyone who cares....
The buyer takes it apart to find the problem the night he buys it. Yes, he must have some rather large cojones!
The plastic grommets on the screws that act as guides for the zoom element had broken. Without these guides, the weight of the element caused excessive drag on the zoom ring especially when the lens was tilted upward. Now it makes sense!
So he takes the focus ring grommets and uses them on the zoom ring screws and now it works perfect again. However, he is going to order replacement grommets.
So imagine - With minimal effort, this guy got a perfect Sigma lens worth $1800 for ~$1030 ... and because my cojones aren't big enough, I'm out ~$700.

Yeah but this one was at least functioning (if not zooming) so I could use it at 300mm while I waited to get it fixed. If I bought yours I wouldn't be able to use it until i have the money to repair it as well. I'll probably just end up buying some lights.
