I have had this item stored for about 2 years unused. This was Custom Brackets’ original camera-rotating product manufactured with disk-shaped bearings. Their latest bracket is this one

Back when involved in HS sports photography, I needed a product that would allow rotating the camera pretty much like a lens collar would allow. With this type of action, rotating the camera from landscape to portrait and back was smooth, easy and fast while shooting fast moving HS players. It has detents built into it to stop and stay locked in either position. The pictures show that there is plenty of clearance that would allow fast lens changing. CB’s camera flash brackets and camera plates will work on it, too.

Included is the rotating bracket, the Quick Release, and the C35-CD anti-twist camera plate for those Canon models with an attached grip such as the Rebel - Eos 350D/Rebel XT - D30 - D60 -10D (with BG-ED3 power pack); 20D (with BG-E2 power pack) ; 5D (with BG-E4 power pack); 1D, 1DS, 1D Mark II.

All pieces are in very good condition, the paint is still good, and there are the minor cosmetic marks one would find on a well-taken care of piece of equipment. It still rotates smoothly and stays in its notched detents. The Quick Release spring actuation is still strong. It is threaded for ¼” tripod or monopod threads. The Allen wrench for setting the friction and the original box is included.
