Prefer local buyer to take a good look at lens and test it if they want. It's been a good lens for the time I've had it and is well used. Still puts out great images. The image of my daughter I took tonight at f2.8 about 6-7 feet from me, JPG straight out of D7000 using cheapo popup flash.
Lens has one of the rubber covers over the focus limiter button missing. I have the replacement just never took it in to have it fixed. Small spot on front element and what looks like a dust particle on inside of lens. Neither affect the image outcome from this lens. Comes with the HB-17 hood and tripod collar that's stuffed in another bag at the moment.
Looking to upgrade to the VR style version as I tend to use this handheld more often than not and get the shakes a lot.
Here is the image of my daughter and a few of the lens.
As a note. This lens also has the notorious 80-200 af-s squeal. This is not the af motor going out, if you google this you will see what i'm talking about.
