How To: Leave Seller/Buyer Feedback

This is a very quick run down on how to use the new iTrader Rating System. I will include much more detailed instructions soon to clear up any questions

When viewing anyone's post anywhere in the forum, If you click their Screen Name to the left of their post, a new pop up will display. On the lower section of this popup you will see a new Trading Section. In this Trading Section there are two options, Leave Trade Feedback! and View Trade History.

Instructions: Leave Trade Feedback!

You can only leave feed back if you have bought, sold or traded an item to that user through this forum.

When clicking Leave Trade Feedback! you will be taken to this page below:



URL link is a must in order to confirm the transaction took place here on the forum.All of the fields within that section MUST be filled in with the exception of the Additional Comments. Once form is completed, click Submit Reply and your feed back will be left for that user.

When clicking View Trade History in that original popup box you will be led to that users Trade History page in order to see how their past transactions have gone.

The page will look like this:

Users wanting to view their own Trade Ratings can do so from several different areas. First is in the Quick Links pulldown menu on the Nav Bar



Second is from the Miscellaneous section while in you User Control Panel



Lastly by viewing your own Member Profile Page

Those users that have bought and sold on the forum, please feel free to go back to those original threads and leave the corresponding feedback for the transaction.

Abel, I tried leaving feedback for Norma_S and was told the URL was invalid. She didn't list the lens for sale in the buy and sell section but I contacted her because she mentioned she might sell it in this thread http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=27546

I guess this means we cannot leave feedback unless the source of the deal is in the buy and sell section?

exactly...

she can create a new post in the B/S section and title it:

SOLD: Camera Make etc etc

and then you reply to it and then you both can leave each other feedback. the software is set to only allow threads that have been created in that secion PLUS both parties have had to had made a post in that thread as a double check feature in the software.

I have received notification of two i-ratings, one from ElanR and one from Clayton Wallace, but only Elan's rating shows in my ratings.
