Too bad Sean I sold a 200 f/1.8L and a 300 F/2.8L IS not long ago. Both are excellent lenses.

It seems FM forum members are more proud of their lenses than ChamCam. I'll probably just buy from Cham.

I've thought about this lens off an on over the last six months or so. I got as close as scheduling an inspection with a local seller but that fell through when he agreed to sell it to someone else before our appointment. Anyway, my decision has been made for me with the recent skyrocketing in price of these lenses. Since its a hobby for me, $4K+ is too much for me to spend on 1 lens, no matter how good it is. The opportunity cost of buying at the top of the hype is too great.

While I've never dealt with him, I'm sure you've read the same reviews of ChamCam that I have. If I was in the market and couldn't find one locally, I would probably be a ChamCam customer.
