SOLD: Sigma 70-210 2.8 APO $400

For sale Sigma 70-210 2.8 APO. It is an older lens that has been rechipped to work on the 20D (according to the last owner). I have been using it for a little over a year with no problems. I am including a Hoya UV filter and flare guard.

I am in the North DFW area and can meet you locally or ship to you (add on actual shipping cost). I am set-up on Pay Pal and will pay the fee if used.

Here is a picture of the lens and two 100% crops from the Fort Worth Zoo on 6/2/06 using this lens.

Does "rechipped to work on a 20D" mean it will work on the Rebel, Rebel XT, 10D or 30D?

I am not sure about the Rebel or Rebel XT, but the 20D and 30D use a lot of the same parts. If you are really interested I can meet you to try it out. It looks like we are not too far from each other.

I'm fixing to leave work now and will check back later when I get home.

Yes it will work on a 10D...I have the same lens and it is awesome....Really sharp at f4 and smaller....lacks a little below f/4.

The AF is a little slow, but it is a Rock Solid Lens. If you wanna see some samples just let me know.

Thank you for adding some comments about this lens. The EXIF data for Gorilla, ISO 800, 1/125 at 2.8. The Ram was taken at ISO 100 1/250 F4.
