Okay...I'm getting desperate now that I've lost 2 auctions on Ebay. I'm looking for a Shrinkle... preferably new, but lightly used is also okay. Color doesn't matter to me at the moment. Anyone know where I can find one? I can't find one anywhere on the net.

My other option is a BHT, but I know they have been discontinued so I may not find one. However, if one falls in my lap I won't complain :D

Either will suit my needs/style. Someone please help a fellow gear addict

hmm

havent seen any shrinkles around...

i do know our local shop here in houston has 2 BHT's. one blue/black and one black/green

id like to see a shrinkle in person, the BHT is quite a bit bigger than my minitrekker.

I have a Computrekker and I forgot to lay it down to compare with Jesus' BHT at the San Antonio group shoot, but his BHT didn't seem to be that much larger.

How much is the shop selling the BHT? Would you be willing to pick one up for me and ship it to Austin? I figure if I don't like it I can find someone to sell it to.

fyi, word is crumpler is modifying their line and new models should be announced end of May or so.

Heh -- Troy, I thought I recognized that screen name on the Ebay Shrinkle auction today! I was bidding on it, but once it went past $150 I wasn't interested since I'm not in desperate need of the backpack. :)

Interesting news...I'd like to have the bag for my trip in June, but I might be able to make due with my Computrekker for the time being. I'll have to think about it. I could always get the BHT through Abel, use it and then sell it and buy a new Crumpler if any of the new designs strike my fancy. In that case, though, I might get beat up by my wife :shock:

Seems they're not open on SUnday. I can call them for you tomorrow - or you can do so and try to work out a deal. Their number is 713-522-7837 and they are willing to ship.

The last BHT at Camera Co-op is on its way to me! Yay!

The woman I spoke to was VERY nice and she told me that they just got the new Crumpler catalog in at the store last week...Shrinkle and BHT have been discontinued (no wonder I couldn't find one) and the new bags should begin coming in within a few weeks. I wish I could have seen the new bags before buying this one, but I couldn't guarantee that I'd have one in time for our trip in June...oh well.
