FS: Sigma 300 and Nikon 80-200 - 02-08-2007, 12:24 PM

I am putting my Sigma 300 2.8 lens up for sale. It is a one owner well used, but not abused lens. $2,100. I believe I still have the box and I have the case and the soft cover and rear cover. Paypal or credit card.

And I am dropping the price of the 80-200 2.8 lens that I have to $450. This is the push-pull style lens and it is still in great shape. Paypal or credit card.

Both are for Nikons.

Pics of the 80-200? How does it compare to the new ring zoom style one?

Yes I have photos of the 80-200. I'll put a couple here in this post. I don't know how it compares to the two-ring style as I have never shot with the 80-200 in that style. I am going to guess that the autofocus is going to be slower on mine that it would be on the newer ones, but it is very sharp and it is a workhorse lens. I made a living with it as my only lens for three-plus years as a sports photographer. So for someone that is wanting to move up, but stay away from the higher costs of the newer lens this would be a great way to go.

Great. It's $450 shipped unless you want faster shipping. Call me at my office with your address and credit card information and we're good to go. I'll PM you with the number.

Thanks to Nikolai the 80-200 is now sold. The Sigma 300 2.8 is still available.

It had been listed for several months now :) This was the third listing for it. Sorry you missed it. How about the 300 it's still available :)

Okay to sweeten the deal on the remaining Nikon mount Sigma 300 2.8 lens if a TPF member buys this lens this month I will give you free your choice of the Sigma 1.4x teleconverter or the 2x teleconverter. The lens is $2,100 shipped and insured to your door. I can take PayPal or straight credit card and no fees will be attached to the sale.
