Chris:

The iMac you describe takes DDR2-PC5300 but.....it uses SO-DIMMs not SDRAM modules. SO-DIMMs, or Small Outline DIMMS, are used in mostly laptops but a few desktops, like the iMacs, use them due to space limitations. Sorry.

This is some great memory! I use OCZ memory in most of My machines religiously. It is some great, dependable memory.

I can't belive someone hasn't jumped on this for $50.00!

Unfortunately, I need 1066 or 1333 FSB memory or I would grab this!

Bump!

I don't know much about computers either, my moms friend built the computer I'm currently using and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have much RAM. How would I be able to find out if these worked in my computer? I'm interested if I can use them in my computer that is.

David:

You have to find out the manufacturer and model number of the mainboard. Depending on what processor and what bus speed the board is running, these memory modules might work. If the board says that it supports PC2-5400 DDR2-667 Dual-Channel desktop memory, these will work.

Tell me about it! I can't believe that folks haven't bought some of my other stuff listed for sale either, although I've gotten a lot of low-ball tire-kickers who think I'm desperate to sell and that I'll take any offer. For instance, one guy offered me $1,200 for the new still-in-the-box MacPro Dual 2.66GHz Xeon unit I have. I had another guy offer me $500 for the new, still-in-the-box NEC 2690 I have for sale. Both of those are current shipping models. I had another guy offer me $300 for my 20D. Eventually, this stuff will sell but it'll take as long as it takes. I'll get market value or the stuff will sit on the shelf until I need another LCD or another Mac.
