SOLD Nikon 400mm f3.5 Manual Focus Good condition...although modified with a AIS chip mod (http://home.carolina.rr.com/headshots/Nikonhome.htm for matrix metering and better compatibility with modern cameras). Please do your research on this lens. It is an extremely fine lens. I bought this used about 1.5 years ago...and have shot a few football and soccer games (including a LSU football game...http://staff.beaumont.k12.tx.us/gloker/tigers.htm ...look for the section toward the bottom "Look for the drama at the event" The pictures of the coach are shot with the 400. You can seem me shooting with the lens taken by another photographer.) and a little wildlife. I have the matched Nikon TC-201 (also chip modified) to go with this. I made the decision to sell after acquiring too many lenses in this focal length over the years (I have others that are not listed...yet)...trying to get to the lens I really want...the Nikon 200-400 VR. This vintage f3.5 lens shoots beautifully WIDE open. Many 3rd party test results have proven that this lens shoots better wide open then it does stopped down. SOLD Sigma 50-500mm aka BIGMA I have a beautiful, nearly new Sigma 50-500. I have only shot a few (4-5) times with this lens. Front and rear optics are perfectly clean. SOLD Nikon 28-70mm 2.8 AFs ED Good condition. Perfect optics. Great lens...for a DX body. This is a casualty of the FX format. This lens was nearly PREFECT for me on a DX body as a 42-105 (effective FOV crop)...but it is just too wide for my taste on a D3. I say nearly perfect because it is heavy...no doubt about it. But, it is VERY sharp...and the 2.8 is definitely worth every ounce. Because it is so heavy, I only used this for very important work...when the absolute sharpest and/or best low light capability was needed, like for portraits and wedding ceremonies. This focal range was a perfect portrait lens...rarely needing to switch to a longer lens. For receptions and candid work, I used a 24-85 AFs. Therefore this lens is very gently used. Very clean. Pictures are online for your careful examination (see link below). If you have never used an AFs lens and a 2.8 lens...this would be a REAL treat. Fast focusing because of the AFs AND the bright viewfinder with its constant 2.8 aperture. If you have been thinking of getting the new 24-70...save yourself the extra money and get this great value...as LONGER is better...than wider. RARELY was the 28mm NOT wide enough...but 70 was sometimes not long enough. I wish Nikon had come out with a 28-85/2.8 instead of a 24-70/2.8. Anyway. I just made the decision to sell this today...after going ahead and getting a 24-120 VR...a downgrade in quality...but it will work better on the D3 until Nikon decides to match Canon's 28-105 L lens. $1,000. Buyer to pay $10 if shipped. PayPal ok...but only if you can do an echeck or cash funded source...no credit cards.

SOLD MINT Nikon D2xs. This is the newer version of the D2x. The camera is EXTREMELY clean. There are no scratches, no bag wear marks, no tripod marks. Comes with manual, charger and battery, and neck strap. I do not have the boxes. I just picked up this gear from a fellow photographer here locally. A box does exist, but not in my possession as of yet...and may be two weeks before I can have the boxes. I have shot a few pictures with just now...and it works perfectly. I already have several Nikon bodies, and I already have a 70-200...so am selling this portion of the gear that I purchased. The original owner was a very light user, non pro, who switched to Canon. Thanks! The camera is nearly perfect. Until yesterday, the LCD cover didn't even look like the camera had been picked up. Of course it still looks fine...but the camera looks like it is right out of the box.

I'll try to post images on an external website as soon as possible of everything I have to sell...but it is going to take me some time. The stuff that is mint, looks mint, really. I have more lenses than what is currently posted...duplicates of what I already have...and I am testing them against each other to see which one I want to keep and which to sell. I just wanted to post the items as soon as possible...knowing that some of it will move right away. Walt for example trusted when I told him that the D2xs was mint...that it was mint...and it was mint.

I will get some images of the equipment...and samples from the equipment...as soon as possible.

Looks like you've updated the info on the 70-200 2.8. May I assume you mean that in addition to looking brand new, you now have original materials in tack (box, papers, etc.)? I am interested in purchasing and have a brother-in-law that lives in Kuntz that I could ask to do the pickup for me. Sorry to be so particular about box, papers etc. it's just that I like to try different lens from time to time and the only way I can afford to is to re-sell after I try them out and everybody always wants the stupid box and papers. I have done many sales and trades on fredmiranda.com and on nikonians.org and I have a PayPal verified account and a Google pay account and of course the ole' brother-in-law could deliver cash. Yeah...it is updated. I am sorting through all kinds of things.

I have one box for two lenses (i.e. the 70-200) as I am still waiting to get the box for this exact lens. So, I took the box from my personal 70-200 lens and put it with the new that I am selling. I have the manual...but not the warranty slip of paper...at least not yet...but I can't guarantee that I ever will. The original owner is supposed to be sending me a receipt for warranty purposes and get me all of the original boxes when he gets back. He just got me the box for his D200 that I bought a few months ago...and it was intact with everything in the box, etc.
