Thanks everyone - she now has a 20D, kit lens, 50mm/f1.8, a 70-300 Sigma, and is very happy!!! Well, it took $500 of her $600 budget for the camera set (20D, kit lens, CF card, battery, charger, etc.) and I personally kicked in a SLIK tripod and nylon camera case. Now I'm trying to get two more lenses for her remaining $100 budget. Here's what I'd like to get her... 50mm/f1.8 (nifty fifty, plastic mount) for $50 70-300 (or something similar) for $50 Again, I'd prefer a local (north DFW) sale if possible but willing to entertain other areas if you'll vouch for the lens quality   My sincere thanks to you all for helping this young lady enter the next phase of her life as a photographer! --------------------------- Canon Cameras & Lenses | Master Works Photography | God is Light "Until you can do better, copy."
