SOLD: Canon 50mm & Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 - 08-14-2008, 10:06 PM

I'm selling my Canon 50mm f/1.4 and Tamron 28mm-75mm f/2.8.
Canon is SOLD.

The Canon is missing the front lens cap and has a few scratches on the plastic part of the body(see photo below). But it does include the lens hood(ES-71II). The glass in clean and in great shape.
I'd rate the lens about a 7 on condition.

The Tamron is in very good condition, but I'm missing the lens hood. But I do have both end caps and the box!

I'm wanting to sell the together and local buyer preferred. $530 for the pair.
If they don't sell together in a few days I will price them separately for individual sale.

Asking $270 for the Tamron.
Now asking $260.
Here are a few photos.
Tamron is SOLD.

I think y'all might be expecting a lot from a f/1.4 non-L lens @f/1.4.
Then again, the Tamron is nice

Anyway, here is a shot I just took at f/1.4 in a real world setting. My kitchen.
This lens does get better stopped down.

Your son looks like my oldest whenever I pick up a camera. "No pictures!" he says, as he runs away.

Do you think the f/1.4 is worth the upgrade from the f/1.8? The half-stop would be helpful, as would USM and better build quality. But I've bought two and not approached the cost of the f/1.4 yet. In low light, I manual focus my f/1.8.

Yes, I think the upgrade from the f/1.4 is well worth it from the f/1.8.

But both lenses are pending sale right now.

I would be interested in the Tamarron if you decide to sell it seperately. Depends on the price.

That's cool, Jake. I was just asking in general (sorry for thread hijacking). I've got three lenses on my list, but won't be buying them right away.

The 50mm is sold.
There have been a few PM's on the Tamron, but no one has said they'll take it yet.

Price for the Tamron is $270 local pick up. $280 shipped with google checkout or paypal.
