My A900 is ordered and now my 24-70 Zeiss is somewhere waiting to be found by me, so space must be cleared.

I purchased this lens new about 2 years ago for use on my A100 and it served me well on my A700 too. It made for a great companion to the 28-75 f2.8, but since my A700 will be sold when the A900 arrives, I don't really have a need for this lens anymore.

Asking price is $400 for local pickup and includes everything as if it just came off the shelf. I'll even keep the Hoya Pro1 Digital UV filter on it. I think $10 should cover shipping if anyone not in the Houston Area wants it. I live in the Dickinson area and work at JSC, so if anyone wants to see it in person or try it out, I'd be happy to arrange something. In case anyone is concerned, my eBay ID is groovy1 and Chris (CFord) can confirm I do indeed exist!

Also for sale is my Sigma 2x APO Teleconverter for the Sony/Minolta A-Mount. I now have the Sony 2xTC to use with my G, so this one has been sitting off to the side.

$60 local, $70 shipped. This one does have the raised element and will not work with every lens, but it did work with my 70-210 f/4 and even my Sigma 400mm f/5.6! I got this one used and it ended up with a Minolta rear cap, but it worked great. It is a 5-pin model, so it will not work with the SSM lenses for AF.

I can indeed say that Keith exists and he does take good care of his gear. I would be interested but I am waiting for the new Tamron 10-24 or the 16-35 Zeiss. Have you listed this on Dyxxum yet?

Not yet. I figured I'd give our locals a shot at it first. It is going up on Dyxum next week.

awww if you've posted this a couple weeks ago, then I would enjoy that 11-18 with my 7D. I got the Sigma 10-20 instead.

do you know how much you want to sell your a700 (+ grip)? if so, how much? I'm thinking of getting one, but don't really need one at the moment.

Bummer. Not sure yet on the A700. I hav ebeen told by those with A900s that as soon as I use it the A700 will be out the door. I have a couple friends and coworkers interested in it now, but if they decide to pass I will post it here.

Chris may need it as a backup to his....

I gotta pass on this for the same reason I'd pass on the new body. 16-35 2.8 Zeiss. Saving up so you have something so you have something to play with when that A900 starts to get old.
