FREE: 2 zoom lenses for Olympus/Zuiko mount cameras - 10-14-2008, 12:10 PM

I own Olympus OM1 and 2n cameras, and a bunch of prime lenses (28, 50, 100, 135, and 200mm) and also a digital camera, so I really don't need these zooms for the Olympus's. I tried selling them on craigslist for $25 for both, but no bites, so how about free to a TPF'er that's got an old OM1 or something.
They are:
Soligor Zoom Macro 28-80 F3.5-4.5.
Vivitar Macro Focusing Zoom 75-205 F3.8 constant.
Front and rear caps are on them. They both have the same 62mm filter size, so if you've got an Oly or other camera that takes a Zuiko mount, these two lenses cover the range from 28-205, and you'd only need one size polarizer, ND filter, and the like. Or maybe you want to try and make some of those bracelets out of the lenses. Whatever. Just making more room in what is currently the storage backpack.
The catch is, I'd prefer pickup, or meet-up, or even delivery if I'll be near you, rather than messing with money and shipping.

I don't know what an OMPC is? Is that a 35mm OM series Olympus camera? Anything that takes OM/Zuiko lenses will take these.

Yup the OM PC was also known as the OM40 in some markets, but the US market knows it as the PC. It was released around 1985.

I thumbed through the manual this morning, and it sounds like these lenses should work.

I will shoot you a PM

Sounds like Scott has got first dibs.

I have an OM-1, but the other caveat is I'm near Fort Worth.

I haven't seen a PM from you yet, but just wanted to let you know I will probably be in Spring next week, so it would be convenient to deliver.

Sorry for no PM yet...work is crazy today. Yes I am still interested. Your visit to Spring would be great. Are you talking about the 24th and 25th? or earlier in the week? I have a BBQ Cook Off Friday and Sat I-45 South near Hardy Toll Road.

I have a wonderful OM-1 and I will take your 28mm or 200mm prime lenses for free anytime :-) I love the camera and Zuiko lenses!
