FS: NIB, unopened Canon Pixma Pro9000 $309

Okay, this might be an untraditional FS ad so bear with me for a minute. I want to buy a 40D or 50D and noticed that there are rebates if I buy a 40D or 50D with a Canon Pixma Pro9000. So what I'd like to do is buy the printer and camera, and then resale the printer with the right to cut off the UPC bar code for rebate purposes. You will get a copy of the receipt for your own personal needs and warranty purposes. In essence, you will be getting a brand new, unopened Pixma Pro9000 printer with full warranty, but without you having to deal with the hassle of mailing off rebate stuff. Think of it as an instant rebate to you. I will deal with the mailing in of rebates, and what not. I'd prefer to line up a buyer before hand, rather than try and find one after the fact.

Also, this deal really on makes sense if I can do a local sale. If I have to reship the printer, then either A. I loose more money, or B. The shipping gets tacked on to the cost making it not such a great deal for the buyer. So based on that I'm looking for a buyer in the DFW area.

Anyone interested? I would like payment up front before ordering (to prevent people from saying they want it, then backing out after I have already ordered the printer). But this is really no different if you were buying a lens/camera from me. You would have to send me money first before I shipped.

If this sounds fishy, i assure you it's legit. I've actually sold a Pixma Pro9000 to a member on this forum in the past (I did the same thing when I bought my 5D).
