July 18th and 19th are the dates for Aquapalooza.
Rumor has it that Chickenfoot might be playing at the local event. :w00t:

Aquapalooza is a big party thrown every year by Sea Ray as an appreciation for their customers.

Chickenfoot is a new supergroup. Made up of Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (from Van Halen), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Joe Satriani.

It looks like your Sacramento Walk is all full up.
You will have 50 photographers trailing you around looking for all the cool stuff in Sacramento.

Maybe you can talk to the Governator in advance, and see if he can make an appearance?

Yeah it filled up on Monday. It should be pretty neat. I've heard that they will be shooting a film in the capitol building that day so that might be interesting to shoot some of that. (Not a blockbuster, some lower budget thing.) Yeah, I'll ask AHHnold to come pose for pics when I have lunch with him next.

All ready here! Sent the final email out to participants today. Gonna be hot. Projected 100. If you are bored and wanna come where it's hot, let me know. I have the power to add you! Some of us are going to hang out afterward and photograph the fireworks show after the Rivercats game (AAA ball) around 9:30.

It's Aquapalooza. And Sara heard it's a zoo, and doesn't want to be a part of it.
Eh, you and I feel the same way about boating on the weekends anyway.

Alan, it was killer hot in Sacto yesterday. 104 at the start of our walk. But it's a "dry heat". Kinda like your oven. The group that came out were real troopers though. We have a Flickr group up and folks have just started adding images:
