I'm Looking to visit SoCal... Need Advice!

Ok.. So I may be attending a workshop in the LA area in September..

I already bought my seat for the Houston workshop but im thinking about switching it over to the LA event instead.

Fri - 9/25
Landing at LAX around 1pm
Open Rest of Day

Sat - 9/26
Open

Sun - 9/27
Open

Mon - 9/28
Open most of the day
One Light Mixer 730pm-10pm

Tue - 9/29
OneLight Workshop all day 8am - 10pm

Wed - 9/30
Fly back home


I will be renting a car so I'm looking for things to go see, do and of course photograph! I prolly wont have any rooms booked ahead of time in case i decide to drive and stay a day or two elsewhere rather than near the workshop location.

Im sure one of those days we can get a meetup/group shoot together!

what are some of your suggestions?

Hey Abel,

I'd highly recommend going down to Huntington Beach for the US Open of Surfing. It finishes up on the 25/26th and is a blast to walk around with a camera.

It's not only surfing but skateboarding, stunt bikes and a lot of very pretty people. For surf shots, you can get on the pier and get some good shots but off the beach you'd need long glass.
