Cool Horizontal Sling Bag - 06-30-2009, 10:25 AM

Thanks Kevin. I've blown my camera stuff budget until Christmas.

I think I'll ask Santa for one of these. With a homemade insert or maybe buy one.

NO! NO! Camera bags should be simple like a LBD not tricked out like a Hollywood street walker...

If you want to carry everything get hard case, the bag is for a few lenses and things. Bodies don't belong in bags but on the body where they can come to hand quickly....

Cool I say, "Yes!" - 06-30-2009, 11:41 AM

Yes! Yes! Yes! Multiple kits, John. 35/6x7/4x5. And lunch. Rain gear. Film holders. Etc., Etc., Etc. This will be the "in the field away from the car working bag."

I tried one of these at REI on Sunday. It hugs my back and is completely out of the way. When I want something, it spins around my waist and everything is immediately accessable. It'll work. If I buy it from REI and hate it, they take it back. No questions.

What's wrong with the Hollywood Street Walker look? I'll fit right in at House of Pies.

Gotta love their return policy. REI is awesome, except for the fact that they tend to charge full list price for everything. I always wait till they have sales if possible.
