A budget friendly Billingham Hadley.

Right. Like those come along all the time.

OK, how about a budget friendly Hadley clone? Knock off? Close cousin?

Used or swap works best for me.

Have you looked at the Domke f-803?

For used go check KEH's bags and cases section.

Thanks John. I will look. The Cameracouier line is interesting. Customizable. Made in the U.S.A. Very un-camera bag looking as well.

Question: Will the Domke F-803 hold the Canon 70-200 2.8 lens? With hood attached?

You might want to look at this. I've had one for years. Just add some liners or wraps.

No Artist and Artisan bag? I thought that was the ONLY bag for real photographers to use.

Are you sure Longview is far enough away to be saying things like that?

A & A? They always seemed more like purses than camera bags. Maybe I'm wrong. I've never seen one in person.

I know at least one person who carries her Leicas and lens in the A&A "Image Smith" bag but she is a decorator in New York.

She has also given up digital for film. A smart lady....

I'm using the Tenba large Messenger bag. They also sell the insert you could put in other messenger bags, but I really like all the other little pockets in the Tenba for filters, wallet, reading glasses, iPod, leatherman, tape measure, pens, note pad, gray card, etc., oh yeah, and a laptop section too.
